Admission Application Procedure

Registration forms for TIGPS Krishnanagar can be submitted either manually or online.

Manual Submission: - The registration form is available at the school office upon payment of the registration fee. Parents must complete the form manually and submit it at the office. Upon submission of the duly filled form, each applicant will receive an Admit Card with the date of interaction/observation.

Online Submission: - The registration form is also accessible online through the school’s official website (www.tigps.in). Applicants need to fill it out virtually, and upon submission, they will be informed about the date of interaction/observation via their registered mobile number and email ID. The registration fee must be paid on the day of interaction/observation. An executive counsellor will contact applicants on their registered mobile number regarding further procedures.

The allotment of a user ID does not guarantee admission. Admission is based on the child’s merit and performance in the Entrance Examination, the date of which will be announced on the school website in advance.

Documents Required for Registration:

  • A photocopy of the Birth Certificate issued by Kolkata Municipal Corporation/Municipality/Registrar, attested by a Gazetted Officer. Affidavits or other evidence are not acceptable .No photocopy of attested birth certificate is accepted.
  • A photocopy of the Report Card from the last school attended (not required for Play Group, Nursery, and KG applicants).
  • One stamp-size photograph of the applicant.

Applicants submitting the form online must provide the above documents on the day of interaction/observation.

The final list of selected candidates for each class will be displayed on the School Notice Board and the school website. Selected candidates must complete the following formalities within the stipulated time frame.

  • Both parents must sign the admission form.
  • Fee payment must be completed within the due date via cash or demand draft.
  • The original Birth Certificate must be presented for verification during admission.
  • Four colored passport-size photographs of the student and one each of both parents (3.5cm × 2.5cm) must be submitted.
  • A Transfer Certificate (TC) from the last school attended must be submitted (not applicable for Play Group to Class I).
  • For students joining from Class VIII onwards, the TC must be countersigned by the District Education Officer/Regional Officer for transfer students.

Refund Policy:

  • The admission fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • The security deposit may be refunded if a written intimation is submitted to the school authority within 30 days from the date of admission and before the commencement of regular classes. Refunds will only be provided to students who have submitted all relevant documents.
  • No security deposit will be refunded if a student withdraws admission without submitting a written intimation within the stipulated period.
  • Any outstanding dues to the school cannot be adjusted against the security deposit.

Withdrawal policy: Students requesting a Transfer Certificate midway through the academic term must pay the fees for the entire academic year.
